A big fashion trend I've noticed this season is definitely neutral & nude tones, which I love! We've reached pretty much the other end of the spectrum from the wild neons we've been seeing all summer, and now we're stepping into the side of tans and browns.
I wanted to create a staple look to kick-start my transition into the neutrals, and I must say, this might be one of my favorite outfits I've ever put together.
It's not the most "fall-ready" seeing as I live in Miami where it's 80 degrees year-round (lol), but this type of look can be easily built up with a chic blazer for some extra warmth!
I built this look around these silk pants I actually found thrifting recently. Yes, thrifting!
100% silk and like 4 bucks. Thank you thrift gods.
Since I was going with the wide legged and super flowy pants, I wanted a fitted top to counter the looseness and give the look more structure. What better way to give an outfit structure than a corset top! This is another vintage piece from my collection BUT don't worry, I'm linking some super similar pieces below for anyone that wants to get the look!
To bring it all together, I wanted to give the pants and corset a feeling of being attached to create that flow between the pieces, so I belted it slightly underneath the waistline with this gold sheen belt.
I finished off the look with a simple chain necklace and my favorite mini gold hoop earrings!
Oh, and of course some classic nude pumps.
